Spring 2014 - Peter Pan
Peter Pan tells the story of a mischievous little boy who refuses to grow up. Peter Pan spends his never-ending childhood adventuring on the small island of Neverland as leader of his gang, the Lost Boys. The show's adventures begin when Peter teaches Wendy and her brothers how to fly and invites them to come with him to Never-Never-Land.
Peter Pan first appeared on stage in the 1904 play "Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up". The play was derived from J.M. Barrie's 1902 book, "The Little White Bird". The characters were inspired by the children of Llewelyn Davies, with whom Barrie formed a close friendship. Since then Peter Pan has become an enduring favorite for both children and adults on stage, screen and in print.

In the Heights-Summer Workshop
IN THE HEIGHTS tells the universal story of a vibrant community in New York’s Washington Heights neighborhood – a place where the coffee from the corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. It’s a community on the brink of change, full of hopes, dreams and pressures, where the biggest struggles can be deciding which traditions you take with you, and which ones you leave behind. IN THE HEIGHTS is the winner of the 2008 Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Score, Best Choreography and Best Orchestrations.

What is MYART?
Musical Youth Artists Repertory Theatre (MYART) is a community-based, non-profit, educational organization that provides young people the opportunity to be active participants in the performing arts. MYART supplements education in the performing arts. Though historically underfunded, we believe this to be a vitally important part of any child's curriculum. Each year MYART presents three main-stage productions with casts of 160 to over 300 participants. Multiple leads and large ensemble casts allow all participants to shine.
